Our goal is to design and hand build quality instruments for a reasonable and affordable price point. The techniques and materials used reflect mid 20th century builds by major American instrument manufacturers, before the onslaught of outsourcing and mass production. Examples of these materials include: quality seasoned wood such as Alder, Ash, Maple, Mahogany, Rosewood; nitrocellulose lacquer finishing and custom colors; top quality reissue or hand wound pickups; superior metal parts. Each instrument is hand assembled and set up for maximum playability and sonic excellence. The purpose of this process is to make each instrument play, sound, and feel similar to a quality vintage one.
